Following the success of the original Team Pilgrimage, this has now become almost an annual event and in 2007, (the sixth pilgrimage, after a break of two years due to the interregnum), a Pilgrimage to Iona was arranged. This 10-day tour was very enjoyable - even with a two-day coach trip each way!
In 2009, there was a Team Pilgrimage to Santiago di Compostela during May.
In 2010 there were two outings, a Team Pilgrimage to Oberammergau at the end of May ,and a local trip to St. Albans Abbey in July when members of St. Mary's joined the Annual National Pilgrimage.
There was another visit to the North in October 2015, visiting Holy Island, Lindisfarne and Northumberland.
October 2016 saw another Team Pilgrimage to the Holy Land with several St. Mary’s parishioners taking part.
Weekend Pilgrimage to Walsingham
For three consecutive years - over a weekend in July - there was a Team pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady at Walsingham in Norfolk. This is the Church of England's National Shrine, and a centre of healing.
A group from the Caterham Team took part, travelling by car with volunteer drivers to keep travelling costs to a minimum. The weekend was an enjoyable experience, especially for those who had never been before.
